How it Began
Brie, one of Heartland Surrogacy’s co-founders, was inspired to become a surrogate after experiencing pregnancy and parenthood firsthand. After her first two journeys with other agencies, she decided to open Iowa’s first surrogacy agency, with a focus on regional support and personalized case management. She invited Monica, a previous coworker and longtime friend, to help her in the launching of Heartland Surrogacy in 2013. Monica quickly realized how rewarding it is to work in this field and committed to carrying out the mission as an owner. We are honored to be able to make surrogacy a easier and more accessible for our clients.
