SURROGATE COMPENSATION
At Heartland Surrogacy, we understand that your strongest motivation for becoming a surrogate is to help someone become a parent. We also know the personal commitment and sacrifice it takes to be a surrogate, and we believe you deserve to be compensated fairly for this immense gift.
The pay you will receive as a surrogate includes base compensation, item-specific payments, and variable expenses. The intended parents are responsible for paying your compensation and all expenses related to the journey.
Payment made for the time, effort, physical strain, and emotional commitment involved in surrogacy. This includes, but is not limited to, starting medicine, undergoing invasive procedures, carrying a pregnancy, etc.
Payment of the costs directly associated with the pregnancy and the surrogacy process. This includes, but is not limited to, medical care, insurance, legal representation, lost wages, childcare travel, etc.
Instead of a fixed package, you’ll put together a fee sheet tailored to your needs. We’ll share industry standards and help you decide what feels fair. The numbers below are current estimates.
