Do I have to pay for anything as a surrogate?

No! As a surrogate, the expenses related to your surrogacy journey will either be paid by the intended parents directly or you will be reimbursed. These are examples of covered expenses: travel costs if needed for appointments, lost wages for time off work, attorney’s fees, medical bills, and a monthly allowance to cover incidentals such as prenatal vitamins and local mileage.
Your contract will outline when you will be paid and exactly what expenses the IPs will pay for. A third-party escrow company will manage the payments.
